"I was born into and brought up by a traditional Hindu family. During my childhood, my parents accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior, yet I was still unsaved. I followed my friends in their worldly pleasures and I strayed away from God. He had a big plan for my life and stayed with me throughout this time. I went to school at the Industrial Training Institute and I was still living my life without God.
On November 15, 1993, a Christian Servant of God came to my house and shared the Gospel. That was the turning point of my life, for I submitted my life to the Lord Jesus Christ. God gave me great joy and peace in life. I joined a Bible School and completed my courses. As a student in Bible School, God put a burden in my heart for the perishing souls in my state.
On January 12, 1998, I went into ministry as a full-time pastor. Currently, I am serving God in Hirekerur City at North Karnataka. The Lord has helped me to train fifteen young people for this ministry. They work under my leadership and we have a ministry in eight villages. I travel from village to village preaching the Gospel and am some- times persecuted by Non-Christians. One man in particular beat me three times, yet I praise God for that! He permitted me to suffer for my Savior.
Surrounding my city, there are 126 people, and my Co-Workers and I plan to work hard in order to to share the Gospel with all these lost souls. Since there isn’t a bus service in all the villages, we are using a bicycle for our transportation. We are praying for a motorcycle.
For our worship gathering, we have 125 believers and we meet at a house that we rent, since we do not have a church building. My God is so faithful to me, please pray for me. "
